Driving directions from the south...

... leave the A 5 at the Freiburg-Süd exit and follow the B 31 to the right towards Freiburg. After driving for some time through Freiburg, the road passes under two closely-set bridges. At the next intersection (Basler Landstraße and Heinrich-von-Stephan-Straße), turn to the left in the direction of the main train station. Drive over the Dreisam River and pass the train station (on the left) and continue straight along Heinrich-von-Stephan- Straße (which changes its name to Schnewlin-Straße, Bismarkalle and then Stephan-Meier-Straße). Continue driving straight until the crossing of Tennenbacher Straße (third traffic light-regulated crossing after the train station) and turn there to the right. You cannot miss the large red Herdergebäude building on the right-hand side. Turn into the courtyard through the gateway to find the parking area. Use the right-hand doorway directly inside the first gate in order to reach us (3rd floor).
